So, I cut off a ton of my hair, hate the song "Birthday Sex", Andrew wants to get back with me because he apparently loves me, and thats SO not going to happen.

It's funny, I've come to see a direct correlation between my hair and my ability to handle emotional or stressful situations.  I'm like Samson in reverse. If i have wesome wicked cool hair, I have this ridiculous confidence, which is magnified by me coloring my hair red.

So yeah, I colored my hair, cut it into a wicked do and listened to a ton of songs by Pink, especially "So What" and was able to say , "Uh, no thanks" when I recieved a pity party and had Andrew begging.

"So What" is such a great fucking song.

"Birthday Sex" and "I Know You Want Me" on the other hand...

anyway, I have had another epiphany. I was looking for Karl Urban icons (because he is beautiful and glorious) and saw some from Lord of the Rings.

Dude, I think Star Trek ruined that trilogy for me.  Why you ask? Why, Tabster?  You have the movie posters, swords, and a lifesize cardboard stand-up of Aragorn in your bedroom!

Because I'm not sure how I'm going to handle seeing Doctor Leonard Bones McCoy swinging a sword and kicking some orc ass. "What business does an Elf , a Man and a Dwarf have in the Riddamark?" Omfg I'm so screwed up. I need to venture into those movies again, I havent watched them in at least a year and a half. Because clearly this needs scientific investigation; aka: lets all watch LotR.

I couldnt sleep and this was the conclusion I came to after watching "The Way To Eden".

That, and Shatner's hair slightly longer with a little curl at the nape of his neck was really hot. Angela and I have come to both appreciate the absurdity of some of the classic Trek episodes, especially the wierd ones where they are re-enacting history. But most especially, the Shat's acting. omfg. I love it when Shat spazzes out or loses his mind in the part like he did in "A Piece of The Action". that episode is also made of win, not only because of Shats ridiculous accent, but the pinstriped suits he and Spock wear. Wow. Yummy.

Yes I fully admit that Shatner was yummy back in the day.

Of course this makes me terrified about what Chris Pine may look like one day, but I have decided not to dwell.

So for everything I've ever written I've wanted to do a magnificent epic splash page of epicness a la Star Wars or Lotr movie posters. With this Sorsha-verse nonsense (which really needs a fucking name at some point) which has grown to epic proportions and has taken over my brain I decided to finally do one.

And ya know, actually finish.

It's great cuz its making me think of my characters in terms of one another and their overall look and everything and I'm having a ton of fun...and frustration. My thoughts for everycharacter as I have been drawing my Good Guys of my Unnamed Yet Epic Story Spash Page:

A Swedish newspaper had an artcle about slash fanfiction especially Star trek but it mentions Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Okay, so I completely knew that Karl Urban (aka Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy of NuTrek) was Eomer in Lord of the Rings. What I didnt realise--until a particularly twisted fanfic author showed up was that he was also Cupid in Xena.

Thats mildly disturbing, and its bizarre how many people were on Xena when I was a kid that I didnt realize until recently as I am older and realize that those shiny happy people on the TV are actually people.

Work is so ridiculously echausting. James works with me now though, so I dont feel so bad.

I got to take care of Baby!Patrick today, he was adorable and well behaved as always. until the end when my last task for L'mom before I was to head to work was to change his diaper.

I swear to god the kid exploded with lime green poop.

The worst part was that the moment, the very moment I started unsnapping the never-ending snaps on this kids clothes, he starts laughing. He's three months old and laughing at me and its the sweetest most adorable thing ever... and then I see why. Cause he knows what I'm about to be wrist deep in. It was disgusting but as I was cleaning him he ws just laughing and laughing like I was the greatest thing ever and even though I was dealing with lime green horrendous baby poop I was laughing with him because all I could think of was how absolutely wonderful he was and how much I loved him and he was so well behaved when I changed his clothes...because damn, this thing was so bad it required a total wardrobe change,.

I love this kid so much it hurts because I look at him and I just know he's going to be something amazing.

Just had a wiggy dream where I was Pheonix (as in X-men) but I wasnt Jean Grey, I was me. I was also best buddies with Emma Frost. We went shopping with Angela and Veronica (They were X-men too, but I couldnt understand why in the dream--like I new this was wrong) and we were making fun of Colossus and Wolverine about something. Then we fought the Joker in the food court which turned into my high school. James and Wolverine stopped the Joker because for some reason my fire wast hurting him. Dont ask why James was there.

That was surreal.

I came to a conclusion: I have not accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior, I have however added him to my buddy list. I friended him on myspace. I commented on his facebook.

So yeah, we are not exactly in the "close intimate relationship" the pastor described, but I dont mind him living next door, he can date my sister, and I'd buy a car from him.

Next topic...I did my taxes!!!! mission accomplished, now I just have to write two papers, read Mists of Avalon and find money to pay my bills.
